I've always been a very visual person but I've never had the patience required to really learn how to draw so my early art work consisted mostly of doodles. In high school I took a photography course and realized i loved to photograph. This has been what I've wanted to do ever since.

Documentary photograph is my favorite stlye, Christian Sunde and Diane Arbus are two of the best in my opinion. I like to see the realities of the different people they present, it skews the idea that there is any such thing as normal, which is always a good thing. I tend to photograph plants and animals. They make me less nervous but I'd like to begin photographing people more.

I will be attending the Holland College Photography program here in Charlottetown this fall and plan to document everything and open my own studio in the future.
